I have only two pruning tools because of a YouTube video I have seen with a man named Paul Gautschi, an arborist for many years. Paul is a knowledgeable man and a fantastic teacher! If you have time to watch his pruning video you really should check it out. I recommend you to watch it if you haven't seen it already. He has different views of what most people grow up with, and it is fascinating to hear his mind on gardening and pruning.
I have been using both tools for several years, and both of these tools are excellent. I have not found anything I don't like with either of them. I'm surprised at how well they work!

These are a fantastic tool well made and will last for many years! I have had mine for several, and they still cut the same! They are light and they feel nice in my hand. A bit expensive but they are well worth it!

This saw is excellent and still works well after years of use! It easily saws through the branches that are too big for the shears. This is a steal, and it even comes with the sheath with a belt loop.
